Adjective Animal
Baltimore music scene’s “secret weapon” Jon Birkholz’ solo project Adjective Animal blurs the lines between digital and analog within the indie rock format. After the success of self produced 2021’s America’s Got Talons” (featured in Spin Magazine’s best albums of 2021) Adjective Animal followed up with album “Every Moment (is) a Portrait) recorded at Wrightway Studios. Recommended if you like Postal Service, Japanese Breakfast, and Television.

The Lunar Year
The Lunar Year is a rock and roll band from Philadelphia and Katie Hackett is the psychedelic rock and roll poet of The Lunar Year.

After releasing her first two albums in the indie folk/post rock genres (Herodias, 2017) (katie bird, 2020), the project was reborn in 2022 in its current form: an art rock band exploring queerness, environmentalism and the surreal.

The band went on 3 full length tours in 2023 in support of their new single Don’t Kiss Strangers, and have recently opened for international touring acts BODEGA and Grace Cummings.

Hackett has also scored for film, having been featured at the London International Animation Festival, Viet Film Fest and MAM Festival. Her songs have been featured on comedian Chris Gethard’s New Jersey is the World, MTV’s Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2.
