Started in the remnants of regional touring act Letting Go, Arcantica marked a welcome shift in direction. Setting the stage with hard-hitting debut EP Withered (recorded, mixed, and mastered by the band), they opened up the doors to many more possibilities than they could’ve thought, with catchy electronic leads, heavy guitars, and pounding drums. From aggressive, soaring choruses found in Ruin, to soft, building ballads like Save You, Arcantica isn’t afraid to branch off in all different sounds.

Without the Accent
Without The Accent has officially started in February 2017, in Annapolis Maryland, by 2 friends/guitarists Andrey Vasilchenko and Cesar Carabantes. First single “The World is Ours” was released on February 7, 2017 on BandCamp and YouTube, and was a perfect introduction into band’s eclectic sound of mixing 2000’s Pop Punk and 2010’s Metalcore. Few months later Andrey met Max Gilder, the drummer, at the local show. After hours of conversations about god know what, Max agrees to join the band, bringing his prog and thrash influences, further expanding band’s sound. In November 2022, Without The Accent has solidified their lineup by bringing 2nd guitarist Kacper Krzesincki on board.
Without The Accent’s “all over the place” sound, crazy live show ethics and boisterous, funny personalities definitely makes them the band to keep an eye on. And if you’re into bands like Chunk!
