Goon ~ Queasy ~ Path

**All shows 21+—valid ID required** Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Goon“Come along and wake up on the way,” sings Goon frontman Kenny Becker, “orange shapes arrange and change again/quiet Isaac in a mild dream.” The lyric evokes the hazy dreamscape spaces occupied by the band’s new album, Hour of Green Evening. Goon began as Becker’s Bandcamp solo project in 2015. At a friend’s encouragement, Becker compiled the best of his tracks and released them as an EP, 2016’s Dusk of Punk. He recruited bandmates from his college buddies and released a second EP, all the while working on the band’s first full-length, 2019’s Heaven is Humming on Partisan Records, followed by the self-released Paint By Numbers 1, a collection of his mid-pandemic home recordings. The evolution of Goon has come to full fruition on Hour of Green Evening. It’s the band’s most complete statement, engaging all aspects of their sound to stunning effect. The album thrums with mystery, with the half-remembered past hazy as dreams, the mixed sense of comfort and longing for freedom so essential to youth. https://open.spotify.com/artist/4NXLuWrShwLG44Had3qhw5?si=USgksUlEQz-HsKQa4rzeSwQueasycorinnemikesteviepavlohttps://queasyphl.bandcamp.com/Path Path is the recording project of Philadelphian Sam Keeler. Since coming together in 2017, Path has released two full length LPs and multiple singles. Their undeniably rich and emotional sound, solidified by sparkling guitars, warm electric piano, and a tight rhythm section, has helped Path emerge as one of the true hidden treasures of northeastern indie rock. If you know you know ❦ Path is currently creating a third full length LP. They tour the northeast regularly as a five-piece band featuring Donald McGrath (guitar), Jeff Silverman (bass), Jordan Dion (keyboards) and Jon Tomaro (drums). Spotify Youtube Instagram Bandcamp

Decent Criminal ~ Lost In Society ~ Those Troublemakers

**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7PMShow: 7:30PMDecent CriminalWith a sound reminiscent of ‘90s alternative, punk, surf, and power-pop, Northern CA’s Decent Criminal offers catchy, upbeat songs that mercilessly collide with abrasive and often melancholy undertones, to bring forth a style that is both playfully compatible, and inadvertently raw.In 2014, brothers Hunter and Tristan Martinez took what was already an active touring act, and rebuilt it from the ground up, giving the band a new sound and set of players. Hunter, the band’s only original member, switched from guitar/vocals to drums, and the band never skipped a beat. Tristan, who was at one point the band’s fill in bass player, took on the key roles of guitarist and primary songwriter. The two brothers enlisted the services of bassist/vocalist Alex Kouninos, and later guitarist/vocalist Brian Gellman to round out the sound. The new band quickly developed their own style, with unique three part vocal harmony permeating their recordings, and live performances. In 2018, Jesse Hernandez (Caskitt) joined to entourage on bass guitar to complete the current lineup.Since the overhaul, Decent Criminal has released a 7” split w/ Screaming Mimi’s in 2015, a self-titled debut LP in 2016, "Bloom” full length LP via Dodgeball Records in 2017, “Bliss” LP in 2019 (via Bearded Punk/Wiretap Records) and most recent “DC EP” released March 2021. Over the past few years, Decent Criminal has picked up some serious momentum, thanks to a combination of prolific songwriting, and a relentless drive to tour and play live.https://decentcriminal.bandcamp.com/Lost In Society3 piece punk band from Asbury Park, NJhttps://lostinsociety.bandcamp.com/ Those Troublemakershttps://thosetroublemakers.com/

Mauskovic Dance Band ~ Plant Sounds

**All events 21+ — Valid ID required**Doors: 7 PMShow: 7:30 PMMAUSKOVIC DANCE BANDAmsterdam’s Mauskovic Dance Band are a musical family in the widest sense: not only are four of the five band members related, but like any family they are always on the move. They have been carrying out their experiments in hazy rhythms and dubby percussive workouts since 2017. In the early days, the boys fused their love of Afro-Caribbean poly rhythms with a no-wave sound palette to create their own unique danceable chaos. Check out their inaugural 7”s for Bongo Joe Records out of Geneva. They picked up the ears of British label Soundway, and subsequently released an EP and their debut self-titled album in 2019. Armed with an arsenal of hypnotic grooves and airtight arrangements, they cemented their reputation as a live act to fire up dance floors, and took their instruments on the road everywhere from Russia to Mexico, with plenty of European festivals in between. For their next chapter, the group dived further into their vast array of echos and spring reverbs, and fine-tuned their sound system-inspired, post-punk aesthetic. A four track EP Shadance Hall, complete with dub versions, came out via Dutch label Dekmantel in 2020, and they will showcase this latest evolution of their sound when they perform this summer.Plant Sounds “If Frank Sinatra, The Velvet Underground, The Beach Boys & The Spice Girls had a baby, her name would be Plant Sounds” PitchforkWe’re an indie psych/rock/pop 6 piece from Philly. Conceived in the lively, bohemian port city of Valparaiso, Chile, Kiltro draws much of its thematic energy from Latin-American folk artists, making for an emotive and stylistically unique merging of older genres with contemporary ones.https://kiltromusic.com/LillimureInfluenced by melodies of her multicultural upbringing, the New York-based artist draws from introspective lyricism and pulsing grooves for when you want to run away and find yourself at the same time. Lillimure’s genre-bending sound can be described as pop with a heavy sensibility to musicianship influenced by sounds from R&B, jazz, and folk to the likes of John Mayer, Tom Misch, and Emily King. Just in time for the 11th hour of summer, Lillimure’s new single “So Far ” has been deemed the Soft Girl Summer anthem. Written by Lillimure and Sam Everett, “So Far” is a soft r&b instrumentation with a lush vocal arrangement. The Schizophonics ~ The Blessed Muthas ~ Civil Rats

**All shows 21+—valid ID required**Doors: 7:00 PMShow: 7:30 PMThe SchizophonicsOver the last few years, THE SCHIZOPHONICS have built up a formidable reputation around the world as an explosive live act. Tapping into the same unstoppable combination of rock ‘n’ roll energy and showmanship that fueled THE MC5 in the heyday of the Grande Ballroom, their wild live show is heavily influenced by artists like JAMES BROWN, IGGY POP, JIMI HENDRIX, LITTLE RICHARD, and THE SONICS. Singer/guitarist Pat Beers and drummer Lety Beers formed the band in San Diego in 2009 and have worked tirelessly since then, playing hundreds of shows around the globe. In 2013 they were recruited as the backing/opening band for EL VEZ, which helped the band make a name for itself in Europe. Since then, they’ve played in numerous countries, and supported tours by like-minded acts like ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, LITTLE BARRIE, THE WOGGLES and have opened for the DAMNED, DEVO, HIVES and CAGE THE ELEPHANT. Shindig magazine described their live show “Like watching some insane hybrid of WAYNE KRAMER, JAMES BROWN, and the Tazmanian Devil”. The band is more than just a live act, they’re also committed to writing great memorable songs. Their new album in due in the fall of 2022 along with extensive tour dates. The Schizophonics- hailed by Spotify as the “wildest live band in America” – wouldn’t want it any other way.https://schizophonics.com/bioThe Blessed MuthasThe Blessed Muthas were once described as, “a gang that played music on the side”, by detroit DJ Angela Woman. But, in actuality they are ordinary misfits from the same old mill playing Rock n’ Roll to get their thrills. The Muthas remain true to the early punk rock sounds of the 70’s. Influenced by NYC punk such as the Heartbreakers, thr NY Dolls, and the (NYC) Victims. Also infuenced by bands like the Dead Boys, and Iggy Pop. At times their infuence ventures across the pond to English Punk such as UK Subs, the Damned, and so on. Get it? Gangs don’t always play by the rules. In the last 22 years the Blessed Muthas have opened up for bands such as The Avengers, MC5/DTK, Nikki Corvette, Sonny Vincent, UK Subs, The Waldos, The Breifs, the Bell Rays, the Zeros, the (NYC) Victims, and local Philly punk legends Pure Hell, Ruin, and the Sick Kids. They continue to blaze a trail of red hot hooligan Rock n’ Roll and musical mischief across the stages they encounter. So check them out! They are tighter than Lux Interiors pants!https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=the%20blessed%20muthasCivil RatsWhat do you get when you cross three rodents with a love of music, partying, and nonsense? CIVIL RATS—the latest garage pop sensation sweeping the Philadelphia undeground. Coming together after a series of miseries and misfires from past musical projects, the former members of former bands Molly, Dale, and Isaac started up in the Spring of ’22 with one goal: play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Or is that two goals? Who cares! These rats are here to stay, and they’re here to slay. With a handful of shows in the can and a 6-song demo released on bandcamp, Civil Rats are ready to take the world by storm … without an umbrella. Watchya say? Do you know your Civil Rats? https://thecivilrats.bandcamp.com/
