Fast forward a year later, and we guess you could say it sounds like that maybe fifteen percent of the time, except now with synth parts provided by our friend Kate (Raw Force). If you like bops, riffs, and a whole lot of dropped D, you’ll be a hard yes for Soft No.@softnophlModern CultureModern Culture is a Philadelphia based rock band. Kevin Dunne(Vocalist and Guitarist) and Brandon Cole(Drummer) have been constant collaborators in various projects since meeting in high school, and while searching for individuals who shared a similar sonic vision, they met Jonny Ibarra(Guitarist) and Brad Parsons(Bassist) who have helped round out the line up. Taking influence from 90’s-00’s emo, and combining them with elements of shoegaze and post-hardcore, the band released their debut EP entitled “Separation” that talks about the loss of a loved one, the effects it can have on those left behind, and the nonlinear journey that can follow after.

Three musicians from three different countries decided to start a surf band having listened to absolutely zero surf music, and Party Nerves was the result; someone once called it ‘post-surf’ and they liked that enough not to question it. They have inspired some pretty exuberant mosh pits and some truly wild dancing. Party Nerves released their first EP – Put a Load On, Come Back Mangled – in 2022 and have a follow-up slated to drop in early 2024.
