Jonah Kagen ~ Dylan Rockoff

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PMJONAH KAGEN23-year-old singer and songwriter, Jonah Kagen, grew up in Savannah, Georgia and took up guitar at the age of six, diving deep into the instrument’s technical aspects after his musician grandfather showed him performance videos. He further found inspiration in the music of guitarist Andy McKee, whose finger-style technique lit a creative fire within. “He opened my eyes to what an acoustic guitar could be,” he recalls, as he dove deeper into creating music on his own. “If you can bring somebody something with your music that they can’t get anywhere else, there’s nothing better than that.”Jonah’s debut EP, ‘georgia got colder,’ was released in December 2022 on Arista Records. He’s already cut impressive figures with over 200+ million global streams, a US tour supporting Maisie Peters, nearly 2 million Spotify monthly listeners, and was included on Shazam’s 2023 predictions list. An exciting new voice bringing an undeniable energy and sincerity through his multifaceted sound, Jonah Kagen is undoubtedly an artist on the rise.https://www.jonahkagen.com/DYLAN ROCKOFFhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/2L2hppNg0A5WfGJTChIJL5?si=EDN9E0MKSCOyXI1xHgfnxQ

Shaper ~ Flagman ~ Gewgaws

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM SHAPERSHAPER is a noise rock band comprised of members of long-running Philly heavy psych band Meddlesome Bells. Inspired by sharp blades, loud machinery, and doo-wop, 2023 is their first full year in business. https://instagram.com/shaper_sound?igshid=NGExMmI2YTkyZg==FLAGMANFlagman was founded back in 2015 by Sam Stewart and Cody Singleton, two long-time friends from the Orlando music scene, with a goal to create the crispiest, most deep-fried alternative metal the world had ever seen. That is, once they found a drummer. After a year-long search, Grant Freeman joined the duo, turning them into a trio… and the rest was history. From racking up hundreds of thousands of total streams and almost two million views across their social media platforms, to playing alongside national touring acts like Hed PE and Battles at major Florida festivals like Sanford’s Hurricane Fest and Gainesville’s FEST, Flagman are quickly rising up the ranks of the Southern US’ metal elite. Despite channeling the eclecticism of the 90s rock scene with influences including Primus, System of a Down, and Mr. Bungle, Flagman’s sound is completely unique. Through the almost unnaturally logical combination of vocalist Sam’s distinctive bass playing, drummer Grant’s driving rhythms, and sizzling leads from guitarist Cody, the band has managed to create a combination so hot that it would have melted Icarus’ wings in a fraction of the time. Like the petri dish experiment that ended up introducing the world to LSD, or the gelatinous primordial Floridian soup from which they emerged, Flagman could go all sorts of crazy directions in the long term. However, what’s more certain is what they’re planning after 3 successful single releases this year alone – releasing a full-length album, mixed by Ben McLeod of All Them Witches fame. At the same time, they’ll also be preparing to light up venues all across Florida and the south/southeastern US throughout 2023 with their slippery bass lines, searing-hot guitar riffs, and drum riffs that’ll have your ear holes begging for mercy as they’re pummelled into submission.https://linktr.ee/flagmanbandGEWGAWSThe pressures of people slabbed up against one another…cut that open, breathe deep into it: bright red rhythms that feel like a birthright shuffle just out of reach. Gewgaws shake on the mantle, signify what we can’t speak to. For a moment, catch the collage, the stories between; the catalogues give this absurd dance meaning.https://www.instagram.com/gewgaws.us/

Messa ~ Maggot Heart

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM MESSAMAGGOT HEART Two of the European rock scene’s most hard working bands are joining forces for 18 co-headline live dates of the US this fall. Emerging from the Italian Doom Rock underground, MESSA’s expansive and innovative sound has captured the attention of a rapidly growing fanbase. Their latest album, “Close,” (Svart Records) takes listeners on a sonic pilgrimage, with a breathtaking sound that melds the colossal voice of lead vocalist Sara, with Sabbath-y guitar tones and unexpected flourishes of Arabian oudh and progressive solos. “Close” transcends the occult and noir-tinted atmospheres of their past works, encapsulating Messa’s multifarious influences into a singular, breath-taking sound. Based in Berlin, the trio MAGGOT HEART led by Swedish guitarist and vocalist Linnéa Olsson, brings a blend of proto-punk swagger and noise rock jangle. With bassist Olivia Airey and drummer Uno Bruniusson completing the lineup, MAGGOT HEART has become a powerful force in the underground rock scene, known for their cross-over hard rock sound and punk ethos. Building on the success of their 2020 album “Mercy Machine,” the band is set to release their third album “HUNGER” on September 29th, an album that promises to deliver a potent mix of their signature gritty sound and new explorations. As these two genre-defying bands unite for a co-headlining coast-to-coast U.S. tour this fall, audiences are in for a hell of a musical journey. MESSA’s immersive dynamics and MAGGOT HEART’s ferocious energy promise a tour that will push boundaries and deliver a mind melting live experience.

Fullscreen ~ O. Wake ~ Redbud ~ Powerhouse of the Cell

AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Fullscreen When in a spiral, directionlessness prevails. Circling stuck patterns. Gravity settling in with the weight of confusion. Tumbling out of the tumult can either bring harmony or headache. Philly-via-Richmond psych-rock trio Fullscreen emerges from the center of this chaos with Labyrinthitis, their debut full-length following a trail of singles and the whirlwind start to the decade. The group, faced with personal and creative shifts, entered a labyrinth of their own, built in RVA and Philly and mastered by Scoops Dardaris (Another Michael, Prince Daddy & the Hyena). Reorganization led to re-assessing Fullscreen in widescreen—deepening their dream-pop sets with backing tracks and sampling, invigorating their songwriting with a visceral sense of focus and scope. Born out of a battle with the eponymous inner ear infection, Labyrinthitis chronicles a years-long quest to regain one’s balance. This serves as the narrative throughline, but the mission statement of the musical tension as well: a delicate push-pull between psychedelia’s outer limits and the constructiveness of grounded maturity and vulnerability. Fullscreen, on this recording and elsewhere, is Harper McGrath (he/him), Eric Schueler (he/they), Jon Furson (he/him) and Kirby Vitek (he/him).   O. Wake Brooklyn mainstay O. Wake is masterminded by visual artist and illustrative musician Ofer Shouval. Shouval’s probing songwriting combines elements of art pop and indie rock to explore the anxieties and absurdities of today’s world through witty vignettes and sweeping soundscapes. With intimacy wrought from vulnerability and a uniquely bashful confidence, O. Wake’s emerging sounds inspire play and movement while evoking a rainbow of feelings.   Redbud Redbud is a band planting itself in the heart of the Austin music fan with whimsical, psychedelic tones and meditative, soul-exposing lyrics. They’ve recently supported international touring acts such as The Front Bottoms, Giant Rooks, Magic City Hippies, A Giant Dog, The Duncan Fellows. With a sound described by Austin’s favorite radio station KUTX as “a masterpiece of unearthly arrangements, airtight structures, and a caliber of songwriting we rarely hear from relative newcomers”, you are sure to be swept up in the tide of their innovative essence. Powerhouse of the Cell Powerhouse of the Cell began as a marketing experiment conducted by Keywrb Lab Group for the Monsanto Company in the early 1990s. The goal was to create the illusion of a grassroots environmental movement through false flag TV and radio hijackings with music and visual art. The actions of this group would then be demonized by the general public through opposing media campaigns. Musically, the creators at Keywrb Lab Group took influence from Darkwave, Post-Punk, and Pop music from the 1980s. Lyrically Powerhouse of the Cell would contain themes of environmental destruction, modern day political and social anxieties, science fiction, and underlying feelings of hope. Visually the project would rely heavily on video synthesis as well as pieces of found footage. While this project was ultimately defunded sometime in the early 2000s, there has recently been some documentation of the experiment resurfacing. Performances have been linked to former subjects of the experiment known as 2514 (vocals, guitar, synthesizer), 23519 (vocals, guitar, drum machine, synthesizer), and 1815141425 (vocals, bass, synthesizer).
