Greyhaven ~ LIMBS ~ The Callous Daoboys ~ Thotcrime

LIMBSLIMBS is a post-hardcore outfit hailing from Tampa Bay, Florida. Originally formed in 2013 under a different moniker, LIMBS released their debut album entitled ‘Dead Ends’ before undergoing a fairly drastic lineup change. After taking eight months for reformation, LIMBS regrouped and released their sophomore release ‘Admission,’ in late 2014, to copious amounts of positive feedback. In 2015, LIMBS toured the DIY circuits relentlessly, and released two independent singles. In March of 2015, LIMBS released the first single entitled ‘Poison,’ again receiving immense positive feedback. Two months later, in May of 2015, LIMBS released their second single of the year entitled ‘Ruin.’ In 2016, LIMBS ventured on a southeastern tour with Saosin and also performed at the South By So What?! Music Festival in Dallas, Texas. The band recorded a 3 song EP entitled ‘SLEEP,’ mixed by Beau Burchell (Saosin) and mastered by Mike Kalajian – released in April of 2017. In 2017, LIMBS joined up with Royal Division Entertainment for management, and soon set out to support Envy on the Coast on select dates in the southeast. Following that, the band trekked across the country supporting Hail The Sun on their nationwide headliner. In September of 2017, LIMBS announced their signing to Equal Vision Records. Their recently released EP, ‘SLEEP,’ has now been re-recorded under the production of Tim McTague (Underoath), remixed by Beau Burchell, and will be re-released by Equal Vision Records featuring new songs not heard on the previous rendition. As the latter half of 2017 approaches a new year, the band has no plans to slow down; a fall tour in support of their re-released EP, and winter recording plans are already set. Catch LIMBS’ energetic performance at one of their upcoming shows, and make sure to stay connected with the band through all social media outlets! Guerrilla Warfare ~ Freeze MF ~ Promise Breaker ~ On Sight at Kung Fu Necktie

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowFREEZE MFFreeze MF blends ice cold, rock n roll themes of guttural punk vocal stylings, hardcore intensities, and dance-like grooves that are as violent as a Philadelphia drug bust. Freeze formed in the Spring of 2018 featuring Dom Stone (Vocals), Nick Malfara (Guitar), Matt Gausel (Drums), and Chris Freeze (Bass). Demo 18 was recorded by Dylan Tasch with the intention of writing driving, riff-fueled, hardcore-garage jams. Shortly thereafter, the band was tracking their first EP, Join or Die, in legendary Studio 4 with Phil Odom and added the MF moniker to their name. In the early winter of 2020, Freeze MF toured the East Coast to the Mid-West, brutally terrorizing boomers and Trump fanatics along the way. The band supported Kublai Khan TX, Rhythm of Fear, END, and Stray From the Path in their hometown of Gritty Philadelphia. In 2021, Freeze MF has released singles such as “Still Dying” and “Inside My Head”. Stinking Lizaveta ~ Microwaves ~ Faking at Kung Fu Necktie

*All events are 21+ valid ID required for entry*7 PM Doors7:30 PM ShowSTINKING LIZAVETAStinking Lizaveta is a power trio from Philadelphia, categorized as “doomjazz.”MICROWAVESOf innumerable bands that traffic in dissonance, the musick of Pittsburgh, PA’s Microwaves’ shears clean and hot as an oxy-lance through the defenses of even the most cynical noise rock aficionado. The trio plies a no-wave/prog-thrash scree that evokes the doings of today’s renegade wetware punks who shove glass-sheathed RFID chips and rare-earth magnets into fresh incisions – dimensions away from the bluesy shot-and-beer heartland rock of their local bar scene. Bursting forth with 2001’s “Professional Systems Overload” EP and the following year’s “System 2” (both featuring original bassist/vocalist Steve Moore, now of ZOMBI) John Roman (drums, formerly of the 1985, and current member of Night Vapor and Brown Angel) and David Kuzy (guitar, vocals) cycled through bass players for several years (including a stint as a synth/sampler-augmented duo) before joining with Johnny Arlett for their longest-running lineup to date. Over the years, Microwaves continued to pick up the loose ends left by Voivod, MX-80, Snakefinger, and some of their own Pittsburgh-area “math-rock” contemporaries, twisting them into a Gordian knot that at once rages and confounds. Their latest album, “Via Weightlessness,” tones down their previous effects-heavy approach, charging lean and unabated toward their dystopian vision. Kuzy’s guitar chimes through the mix with spindly atonal runs more akin to data streams spat from an outdated mainframe, alternately careening into chugging, crossover-thrash riffs. The Roman/Arlett rhythm section is much more than the sum of its parts: Beefheartian clamor served up with cyborg precision underpins overdriven bass, rumbling forth frenziedly as a DMT-dosed rhino. Kuzy, the paranoid town crier, and Arlett, the unhinged shrieker, deliver a twin-vocal assault covering most topics previously found in your local video rental shop’s cult/sci-fi section. FAKINGFAKING is a noise rock trio from Philadelphia that blends angular aggression, brooding filth, and mathy weirdness. Giant pounding drums, biting bass synth, and harsh guitar riffs that bleed into reverb drenched seasick leads create the odd-time foundation while vocals scream and holler about shitty people doing shitty things.

Plague Years ~ Somnuri ~ Dissentience ~ Morbid Cross at Kung Fu Necktie

PLAGUE YEARSLike an icepick to the face, PLAGUE YEARS arrives with an electric surge of sudden pain. An unrelenting end of the world assault of the cataclysmic convergence of thrash and hardcore, with bits of blackened death and midtempo madness to spare, the Detroit master blasters are here to crash the crossover party. Summoning the primitive spirit of the singular moment when the heaviest of metal first smashed into a circle pit, PLAGUE YEARS reignite the flame with sharp fury. The devilish and down-tuned death worship within PLAGUE YEARS serves as a demonic calling card for the Detroit foursome, a brutal counterbalance to their otherwise likeminded thrash revivalists. On Circle of Darkness, the band’s full-length debut, PLAGUE YEARS reunite with engineer Arthur Rizk, whose work with Power Trip, Tomb Mold, Candy, and Cavalera Conspiracy has propelled him to the front of the horde amidst the resurgence of crossover thrash.SOMNURI Drawn out of a unique, creative vision and driven by a deep passion for all things heavy, Somnuri aren’t your typical Brooklyn sludge metal band. While fans of High On Fire, Mastodon, Kvelertak and Torche may fall in love, Somnuri bring so much more to the table than the mere sum of their parts; shying away from tropes and committing instead to a determined, iconoclastic approach. Musical liberation was on full display for their self-titled, Magnetic Eye Records released debut, which received rave reviews. Suffice it to say, fans of heavy music near and far are excited for the release of the band’s upcoming second LP, “Nefarious Wave”, slated for 2021.DISSENTIENCEThough the forges of the Bethlehem Steel have long been extinguished, Dissentience is here to prove that the steel town still has plenty of metal to offer. Since its inception, the four-piece death-thrash act has set out to bring their unique blend of speed, groove, and unfiltered aggression to the masses across the tri-state area and northeast U.S. The release of the band’s 2018 EP Mask of Pretense brought forth praise both from fans and critics alike, with Decibel Magazine calling it “relentless, technical and melodic.” An explosive showcase of energy and precision, Dissentience’s live performance took them to the Viper Room after winning the East Coast leg of the Wacken Metal Battle USA in 2019. Entering the scene with unmatched intensity and a sound that already screams “unique,” the take-no-prisoners attitude of Dissentience is indisputable and made even more apparent on their upcoming album.https://dissentience.bandcamp.com/album/empire-anatomyMORBID CROSSThrash metal from Southern New Jersey. Cerebral Rot ~ Left Cross ~ Gravesend ~ Outer Heaven at Kung Fu Necktie

CEREBRAL ROTAscending from the odious decay of their first LP, Cerebral Rot passes from animal to human contagion with a new more purulent virus on ‘Excretion Of Mortality’. A return of such festering decrepitude and anatomical canker as befits the true adherents of vile and sick underground Death Metal.LEFT CROSS”But the shelling is stronger than everything. It wipes out the sensibilities, I merely crawl still deeper in the coffin, it should protect me, and especially as Death himself lies in it too.”GRAVESENDNYC’s Gravesend arise with ill intent like a foul emanation from the aging sewage filled rot slowly winding its way beneath the city’s vast concrete walls and pavement pathways. A New York of discarded needles, noxious fumes, scavenging rats, broken bottles and cracked minds.OUTER HEAVEN Pulverizing Death from the backwoods of Pennsylvania.

Mortiferum ~ Blood Spore ~ Yatra at Kung Fu Necktie

MORTIFERUMOn their sophomore album Preserved in Torment, Olympia WA’s doomed death metal unit MORTIFERUM push their penchant for dark, depraved, and disgusting dirges even further out into the periphery. Picking up where they left off with their Profound Lore debut Disgorged from Psychotic Depths, MORTIFERUM continue to mine the poisonous quagmire of classic American death metal, the warped visions of Finnish death metal, and the suffocating lurch of funeral doom for inspiration, but the resulting six tracks on Preserved in Torment operate on a larger scale, both in musical scope and in sheer crushing weight.BLOOD SPOREPhiladelphia Fungal Death and DoomYATRAYATRA is a brutally heavy death sludge trio from Maryland, USA, consisting of Dana Helmuth on Guitar and Vocals, Maria Geisbert on Bass, and Sean Lafferty on Drums.
