Focusing on the period of metal preceding the advent of Nu Metal–from Black Sabbath to Children of Bodom and everything between, this party honors the forerunners of todays metal landscape. Applicable metal sub-genres also include (regardless of year released): thrash, power, symphonic, death, speed, doom, prog, and of course traditional heavy metal.
