SMALL FORWARD

Eliza Claffy is a musician, songwriter, and artist from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her music taps into a childlike dream state that places listeners into a playground of sound and melody.  Growing up on punk, jazz, and baroque pop has led to her own unique blend called “Ratatat”. Music might have a crush on her. We’re not sure (it hasn’t returned our calls yet).

Charmspeak draws on inspiration from the indie rock, alternative, and jazz scenes here in Philly and around the world. What began as a recording project quickly developed into a dynamic live act featuring Abbe Charernsook on vocals, Mason Kunttu on guitar, Dan Goldberg on drums, and Max Fabiszewski on bass.
