Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PM Sonido Gallo Negro Sonido Gallo Negro is a band from Mexico City going back to the roots of psychedelic tropical music with guitars, eccentric organs, analog synthesizers, theremin… they mix exotic rarity and esoterism which will alter your perception and force you to dance until you get exhausted. Add to it visual hypnotics and live performance by Dr. Alderete. Since 2010, they have had multiple tours around Europe and America, visited 20 countries and more than 50 cities. Five studio albums later, they became one of the most recognized bands of Mexico City. Grupo Sumak de Philadelphia Born in the heart of Philadelphia, Grupo Sumak de Philadelphia is a sonic explosion that fuses the psychedelic echoes of Peruvian chicha with an untamed punk spirit. Their music is a hypnotic blend of jangly guitars, swirling melodies, and relentless rhythms that transport listeners into a trance of tropical rebellion. Composed of four musicians from Latin America—hailing from Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico—Grupo Sumak is a testament to the power of cultural fusion. Their sound is rooted in the raw energy of Andean cumbia and the electrified pulse of ‘70s Amazonian chicha, yet it surges forward with the intensity of garage rock and the attitude of punk. With each performance, Grupo Sumak de Philadelphia turns the stage into a fever dream of vibrant textures and hypnotic grooves. Their music is both an homage to tradition and a radical reinvention, bridging past and present in an electrifying dance of resistance and celebration.
