MakeOutClub was the very first “emo night” anywhere in the United States (started in Feb, 2011), and created the blueprint for every other major city in the US to follow. Mr. Brightside brought Indie nights back into Philly’s mainstream. Events like My Chemical Slow Dance (Emo Prom), Scene Queen Halloween, and New Years Emo, continue to raise the bar and show that there are “emo nights” and then there are Emo EVENTS.
