Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM SMALL FORWARD Eliza Claffy is a musician, songwriter, and artist from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Her music taps into a childlike dream state that places listeners into a playground of sound and melody. Growing up on punk, jazz, and baroque pop has led to her own unique blend called “Ratatat”. Music might have a crush on her. We’re not sure (it hasn’t returned our calls yet). Charmspeak draws on inspiration from the indie rock, alternative, and jazz scenes here in Philly and around the world. What began as a recording project quickly developed into a dynamic live act featuring Abbe Charernsook on vocals, Mason Kunttu on guitar, Dan Goldberg on drums, and Max Fabiszewski on bass.

Attending college in the Appalacjian Mountains of North Carolina, Patton co-formed rock’n roll band The Nude Party with his new college classmates. Trading that GMC Savannah for a Chevrolet Van, he penned a minor hit that took the band across the country and Europe many times, opening tours for Jack White, The Arctic Monkeys, and Orville Peck, and taking the stage at major festivals like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits.Finally settled a while in New York City, the ultimate respite for all the world’s transients, he is breaking into a new world of Country-Western Americana Rock’n Roll with a true traveler’s voice – invoking the Arizona desert gunfighter ballads of Marty Robbins, the NYC quick fix literary hits of Lou Reed, slinky bayou sounds of Dr John, and center of the USA rock & roll rapscallion-ism of Chuck Berry.
