Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 8:00 PM RADIO FREE ALICE “I can’t eat you, I can’t fuck you, so why the fuck would I come?” Those were the parting words of Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman AntonNewcombe to Radio Free Alice’s band members. Hobbling over to the band tequila in hand as the band finished the early set of their Sydney residency at Newtown’s The Duke, the wiry icon offered words of praise. BJM were playing at the venue the next block down, and enjoying the natural rapport between them, the band invitedNewcombe back to watch Radio Free Alice’s late set that night after BJM’s show. The invitation only to be rejected in the dry wit typical of the BJM founder, “I can’t eat you, I can’t fuck you, so why the fuck would I come?!” Despite wandering off into the night, never to be seen again, that interaction is emblematic of the allure of the Melbourne 4 piece, whose frenetic live shows have captured imaginations throughout this year.At the vanguard of a new wave of high energy guitar rock and fast emerging as one of Australia’s most exciting young bands, Melbourne’s Radio Free Alice released their first two EPsRadioFree Alice and Polyester. With an operatic swagger angular guitar driven sound, the Melbourne group merged with an art school musical palette, painted from a suburban Australian canvas. Immediate and arresting rock arrangements from the quartet meld with frontman Noah Learmonth’s distinctive yearning throaty vocal, harking to the stylings of Ian Curtis and Robert Smith. Guitars with clean tones and clever notes, melodic bass lines, urgent drumbeats, and the occasional sax translate the band’s DIY recordings to an energetic, charismatic live show from the young quartet. Following 2023 singles “Paris Is Gone” and “Look What You’ve Done”, which have received support from triple j, FBi and 3RRR, the band have opened for The Killers, Royel Otis, Sorry, Django Django, High School, The Snuts and a sold out four week residency at inner Melbourne’s Nighthawk. The band’s captivating live show saw them emerge from Brisbane’s BIG SOUND showcase and SXSW Sydney as one of the breakout artists for 2024, and backed up by NME who included them in theirNME 100 list for 2025.Having recently played festivals around Australia, a two month stint of club shows and festivals in UK/Europe and a sold out headline tour at home in Oz, expect more music from this frenetic new young band in 2025.

T.3BroadwayPopCappellaExpialidocious
AGE RESTRICTION: All Ages Doors: 7:00PM Show: 7:30PM T.3BroadwayPopCappellaExpialidocious Some artists spend years trying to form a band and create their unique sound. Whether they are looking for a pianist, background singer, bass player, or drummer, the process can be frustrating and complicated. After all, how can you be so sure you’ve found someone who not only compliments your musicianship, but is also a fit with your personality? How do you place a want ad for chemistry…or “harmony”? For the members of T.3 – Liam Fenneken, Jim Hogan and Brendan Jacob Smith – that search didn’t take years. They found each other thanks to their shared interests, the power of social media…and eventually found their harmony thanks to a spontaneous decision to record in a stairwell. It’s one of those “lightning in a bottle” stories that can’t be explained using logic alone, but the elements of synchronicity have helped them create something truly special. One thing is for sure: Fans will experience that vocal harmony for which the group is known, as well as the harmony between each member’s individual roles of musician, performer and songwriter.

Dan English
AGE RESTRICTION: Only Ages 21+ can purchase tickets for this show. NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES for anyone underage who purchases or attempts to use these tickets. Doors: 7:00 PM Show: 7:30 PM Dan English For the longing listener… The music of composer Dan English is the communing of the head and the heart sharing secrets. The songs subsume time into feelings and images of purity, sonically and spiritually, and then, somewhat masochistically, play with lyrics drawn from the dingier parts of life: love, family, and capricious head-spaces. It’s movie-music; eternal scores for an espionage film with a protagonist who’s a clandestine, time-traveling romantic tailing the spirit itself. Born in a quiet town in Iowa, he grew up chasing invisible things: codes in books, echoes in movies, half-sentences in songs. English found himself glued to the radio from an early age and, after picking up guitar at 10, language and sound conspired. The music is part confession, part séance— lush spells where the sacred and the stained trade places. Emotions arrive in disguises: Tenderness (smoke), grief (rhythm), silence (a cathedral on the verge of collapse). Following a move to New York City, Dan released his first album “Fruit Boy” in 2018 followed by 2020’s “In Grace” EP. Since, Dan has journeyed into his next body of work with the release of “Across my Jaw”: a song that trembles beneath restraint before bursting open— a shattering modern hymn. In addition to his solo work, Dan moonlights as a guitarist for beloved NYC rock outfit Porches and is often to be found collaborating with his mysterious cousin Melody English. His second full-length, Sky Record, is due Summer 2025. It’s less an album, more a weather system.
